The joint strategy will also see programmatic and creative services developed in an attempt to drive sign-ups and build fanbases at Superbet.

The fresh agreement between Genius and Superbet complements its existing data, trading and streaming partnership – in place since 2019.

New free-to-play games supplied by Genius will include data-driven fantasy, trivia and pick-em games.

Operator Superbet says this partnership is a part of a wider strategy to place technology at the centre of its growth plans.

Superbet also plans to build its own proprietary technology while maintaining its partnerships with suppliers such as Genius.

Superbet Group Chief Revenue Officer Adam Shaw said: “The vision of Superbet Group is to bring exciting, technology-powered entertainment in sports & gaming to our customers across the world.

“To deliver on that promise, we have a strategy of consistent investments in developing our own proprietary core technology.

“At the same time, we recognise Genius Sports is the right kind of partner, that can increase the variety of our digital offering and enhance the quality of our customer experience.”

Genius Sports Managing Director of Media & Engagement Josh Linforth added: “Our partnership with Superbet Group will set a new standard for collaborating closely with sportsbooks to build games and experiences that truly engage and entertain their customers.

“Together, we’ll devise and build bespoke predictor games and marketing campaigns that will enable Superbet to find out what resonates with their audience and drive year-round engagement.”
