By Matthew Nicholson

The deal will mark the debut of One Championship’s events on FanDuel’s platform, which will begin with One 164: Pacio vs Brooks on 3 December – followed by One’s Asia’s weekly primetime events, starting on 20 January.

FanDuel says the agreement will ‘provide fans and viewers with a new avenue to connect with the sport through viewership and wagering.’

Mike Raffensperger, FanDuel CCO, said: "We're eager to continue expanding the variety of content we're offering at FanDuel TV, to introduce our audience to emerging sports.

“We've long respected the content the One Championship team is producing and are looking forward to bringing their action to our audience through FanDuel TV and FanDuel+."

Meanwhile, Chatri Sityodtong, Chairman and CEO of One Championship, added: "We are thrilled to join the FanDuel TV lineup and give our passionate U.S. audience yet another way to engage with One Championship.

“Having a quality partner in FanDuel will help raise the profile of our company in the region and provide their viewers with action-packed martial arts events like they have never seen before."

Furthermore, The Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO) has told operators in the Canadian gambling region to stop accepting bets on the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) immediately.

The stunning move comes after the AGCO revealed its concerns about non-compliance with its integrity requirements.

The regulator has told operators in Ontario that each must meet the rules to safeguard against odds manipulation, match-fixing and other sports betting integrity issues.
