Odds On Compliance appoints two new directors
By Louis Thompsett

Odds On Compliance is a technology and consultancy firm specialising in sports betting, iGaming and gambling regulatory compliance.

Butler recently retired from the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement, playing a role in establishing the regulatory framework for sports betting in New Jersey in 2018.

In this role, Butler guided revenue certification and audit teams, which grew from six to 15 upon her retirement from state service in 2021.

Butler comes from a background at the New Jersey Casino Control Commission, starting as an auditor before climbing the ranks to lead the Revenue Certification team in 1995.

Meanwhile, Ghanavati has been in the gaming industry for over three decades. He was most recently Director and Head of Regulatory Technology at Fubo Gaming, which folded in October 2022 after FuboTV ceased its gaming arm operations after a strategic review. Fubo Gaming only launched several months before its cessation.

In his time at Fubo Gaming, Ghanavati oversaw all aspects of jurisdictional compliance and helped the company launch in several states including Iowa, Arizona and New Jersey.

Before this, Ghanavati spent 24 years with the NJDGE before joining Gaming Laboratories International (GLI).

During his time at GLI, he managed technical compliance, market research and business development.

Odds On Compliance CEO and Co-Founder Eric Frank said: “We are thrilled to welcome Marybeth and Ali to the Odds On Compliance team. “Each brings extensive and invaluable industry experience to strengthen our compliance team.”
