SkillOnNet gains licence to offer online slots in German states
By Gambling Insider

The licence will cover all SkillOnNet brands; however, initially, the company’s main focus will be its flagship German-facing gaming site, DrueckGluek.de. The site is already a well-known brand in Germany, having operated since 2015 under a license from the state of Schleswig-Holstein. It later met the requirements of the State Treaty on Gambling and passed in the summer of 2021.

Schleswig-Holstein was the only German state to licence online slot games prior to the implementation of national, and federal regulations last year.

DrueckGluek.de also sponsors 2. Bundesliga football team Holstein Kiel.

The licence underlines SkillOnNet’s commitment to responsible gaming and to working within regulated environments.

Michael Golembo at SkillOnNet said: “Germany is a huge market with a massive audience for slots. Having the official German licence means SkillOnNet players will be part of a fully regulated experience, feeling more confident, safe and secure, many for the first time.

“It’s also a recognition that we meet the high standards of the German licensing regime and are prepared to work with regulators to meet those standards, reinforcing that responsible gaming is the cornerstone of everything we do.”

Meanwhile, recently, SkillOnNet signed a new content partnership with games developer Playson.

“SkillOnNet is a major tier-one operator and software provider, so this deal is another major milestone in our amazing growth story,” said Playson Sales Director Blanka Homor at the time.
