The software was recently upgraded in a bid to protect players better from potential harm. It is a Cloud-based solution that allows operators to scale up their protections and meet the demands of their customers.

Norsk Rikstoto makes use of several player protection measures, and one of them is a monthly loss limit of NOK 20,000 ($2,000). Further, players are also informed about their gambling spending and can perform a reality check at any time.

In 2022, Norsk Rikstoto’s license was renewed for 10 years, starting from 1 January 2023.

Upgrading Mentor to the Cloud version also means Norks Rikstoto is utilising software that has been developed with the latest research on responsible gambling.

The software, which has rapidly gained popularity in Europe and is used by many of the continent’s top iGaming operators, also features modules for AML, fraud and a CRM.
