NeoGames subsidiary BtoBet secures regulatory approval for Ontario
By Peter Lynch

The approval from the AGCO allows BtoBet to provide its sportsbook technology and services to operators looking to launch in the Canadian province.

It follows the recently acquired GLI-33 Events Wagering System Certification by Gaming Laboratories International for the group’s sportsbook platform, which has paved the way for BtoBet to launch its sports betting technology across North America.

“Obtaining the registration approval from the AGCO is an important milestone for the company as we seek to expand our presence in the North American region,” said NeoGames President Tsachi Maimon.

“This approval underscores BtoBet’s exemplary track record in compliance, and we are excited to be in a position to deliver our market-leading sportsbook technology to customers in Ontario.”

Earlier this week, Pollard Banknote agreed a deal with NeoGames to continue its existing joint venture operating partnership. NeoPollard, the name for the joint venture, goes back 10 years and has been successful for the pair. Now the agreement has been extended and updated, allowing both companies to independently or jointly pursue other North American iLottery opportunities going forward.

And last week, NeoGames attained the World Lottery Association (WLA) Responsible Gaming certification. The provider noted that the global accreditation confirms that it has achieved full alignment with the WLA responsible gaming standards for Lottery suppliers.

The group’s iLottery operations were assessed by an independent auditor, and were found to align with WLA standards regarding several factors.
