The deal is aimed at supporting Jelly’s entry into the iLottery market by leveraging EQL Games’ lottery network and RGS technology, to integrate with lotteries and their system vendors.  

The agreement expands EQL Games’ portfolio of games, and, according to EQL, builds on a mission to deliver lottery content that is novel and engaging.  

EQL Games CEO Brad Cummings said: “We are adding some of the world’s most innovative game studios in iGaming to our iLottery aggregator and this agreement with Jelly is a continuation of that theme.  

“Jelly fits that mold with new game concepts yet to be introduced to the US market that promise to take eInstant products to the next level. We are fortunate to be able to offer these games to our lottery clients as we work tirelessly to bring new digital products to the iLottery market, especially in the US.” 

In other lottery news, the Gambling Commission has cleared Allwyn for its acquisition of Camelot Lotteries UK, after it was announced the former had won the UK lottery licence rights from Camelot, which has held it ever since the lottery’s founding.  

Now the acquisition has been confirmed, several changes to Camelot’s Board and Management Team will take place. This includes Camelot CFO Clare Swindell and Commercial Director Neil Brocklehurst becoming Co-Chief Executives, leading the group through the end of the Third Licence in January 2024.
