GiG completes deal with Ontario land-based group to power Casino Time
By Gambling Insider

After receiving a supplier licence from the AGCO, the region's local regulatory agency, the agreement will make GiG the region's sixth operator to be powered by the company when the brand launches in H2 of this year.

A joint venture in Ontario's charitable gaming industry, Casino Time is wholly Canadian-owned and operated.

Marcel Elfersy, CCO of GiG, said of the deal: “A growing presence in Ontario continues to reflect well on the strength of our products and technology in the region. Combined with our commitment to expansion in complex regulated markets globally, we’re demonstrating that we are positioned to power the needs and aspirations of land-based operators looking to enter the online space.”

Meanwhile, D’Arcy Stuart, founder and CEO of Casino Time, added: “We are proud to extend our partnership with Ontario’s charities in iGaming. Casino Time will deliver the personalised service and community experience that our retail customers in Ontario have come to expect, while expanding the product offering into exciting new territory, including Bingo, Slots, Sportsbook and Live Dealer Casino Games.”

Elsewhere, GiG recently completed its previously announced purchasing deal with Catena Media to acquire several domains and casino affiliate websites, including Askgamblers.com, Johnslots.com and Newcasinos.com. The agreement is the next step in the company’s plans to consolidate these assets.

The main domain in question here is, of course, AskGamblers.
