ZenSports submits Tennessee sports wagering licence application
By Gambling Insider

The ZenSports mobile platform offers both a traditional sportsbook where users may bet against the house and a peer-to-peer sports betting market.

Customers can design their own wagers with their own odds and conditions using ZenSports' peer-to-peer marketplace.

In accordance with the Tennessee Sports Gaming Act and the guidelines of the Sports Wagering Advisory Council, KeyStar aims to receive approval for both its traditional sportsbook and said peer-to-peer wagering services.

Mark Thomas, CEO of KeyStar, said: "Tennessee is the perfect first state for us to launch ZenSports in. Tennessee has demonstrated significant technology innovation and is one of the fastest-growing states for sports wagering."

Tennessee ranked among the top 10 sports betting markets in the US once more in December 2022, with $440.4m (£365.3m) in sports betting handle and bringing in more than $49m in revenue.

More recently, there has been plenty of excitement at the online launch of Ohio sports betting and retail launch of Massachusetts.

ZenSports can be downloaded from the iOS App Store and the ZenSports website.

In October 2022, KeyStar Corp acquired ZenSports and Ultimate Gamer’s assets.

With this, KeyStar had planned to widen ZenSports' sports betting presence worldwide, specifically in the US, where it plans to apply for a variety of state gaming licenses.

Further, as part of the agreement, the acquisition will not include ZenSports’ Nevada gaming licence or assets, as KeySports said it will look to ‘obtain its own Nevada gaming licence in the near future.’
