Raffolux hands out VW Polo to Great Christmas Raffle winner
By Matthew Nicholson

Over 70 charities contributed to the raffle, totalling over £90,000, with tickets selling for as little as 99p. Harrison’s chosen charity, The Red Sky Foundation, provides equipment to the Children’s Heart Unit at the Freeman Hospital in Newcastle.

Harrison commented on his win: “I’m over the moon with this news, and I am also excited to be able to share this amazing prize with my family, as my daughter has been looking to buy a new car for some time.

“As a Durham resident, I have followed the work of The Red Sky Foundation for some time now and I am in awe of what they do. It’s wonderful to see the difference they are making to so many lives both locally and now across the country. In 2023 I will be continuing to support the charity in whatever way I can.”

Meanwhile, Gerry Lianos, Co-founder and CEO of Raffolux, added: “It’s been another successful year for the Great Christmas Raffle, and we’ve been absolutely delighted with the traction that it has seen.

“Ever since I was a child, supporting good causes has always been close to my heart so I’m thrilled that Raffolux has been able to continue supporting so many deserving charities this past festive season. Our congratulations go out to Neil and we hope he and his family enjoy the new Volkswagen Polo Life for many years to come.”
