The Bounty Hunter Series will run from 9 April until 2 May, featuring six separate headline events that include both satellite tournament finals and direct buy-ins, as well as various side events.

A majority of the events will also employ a bounty system, where players will accumulate prizes each time they knock someone else out of the tournament.

In progressive bounties, these prizes will increase in value as the tournament progresses.

However, the mystery bounty events will use a special mechanic. During the final stage of these tournaments, rather than the bounties growing progressively, each time a player knocks someone out of the tournament they will receive a random bounty amount as a prize.

This means that the biggest prize will be allocated at random, without the player necessarily having to make it to the final hand.

The first buy-in stage of the Mystery Bounty Main Event $50m GTD will begin on 16 April, with the final stage being held on 1 May and a top bounty prize of $500k.
