Delaware i-gaming win hits another record high in April
By Priscillia Mudiaki
ware i-gaming has continued its streak of monthly win success by breaking the record again in April, a stark turnaround following an overall revenue decline last year.

The state’s three online casino operators, Delaware Park, Dover Downs and Harrington Raceway, won $267,801.30 during April, a 2.79% increase in high revenue compared to the previous month.

Delaware Lottery previously announced that March was a record-breaking month, with a striking gain of $260,539 for i-gaming. I-gaming operators will be pleased that April’s figure has again surpass the previous high, although the numbers still pale in comparison to New Jersey’s record win of $17 million, also set in April.

Video lotteries again performed highly, with a contribution of $142,735 to the monthly win total. Table games accounted for $90,313 of win.

However, i-poker is still gradually falling with a year-to-year decline of nearly 30% when compared to April 2015 figures. Poker win in April 2016 totalled $34,751 in April, a 6.9% decrease from $37,324 the month before.

Since December 2015, the numbers have kept soaring for Delaware i-gaming, a strong indicator that 2016 is looking more optimistic than the previous year. The state is now taking a closer look at online sports betting.
