Kindred receives approval for its proprietary gaming platform in New Jersey
By Gambling Insider

The New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement (NJDGE) has given the final approval for Kindred’s proposed proprietary gaming platform.

By launching the platform in the New Jersey market, Kindred can obtain a wider variety of analytics and data in order to enhance performance and flexibility.

Kindred has also assured that the platform will adhere to local standards and requirements for safer gambling in New Jersey when it launches in mid-May.

Unibet customers will also be able to access the platform, where they will be offered localised and custom content.

Henrik Tjärnström, CEO of Kindred Group, said: “I am very pleased that we are now able to launch our own Kindred platform in New Jersey, and I am immensely proud of everybody at Kindred who has made this possible.

“Introducing the Kindred platform to our customers in New Jersey will provide the entertainment and experience enjoyed by our customers in Europe.

“We are now finally able to show off our true Unibet product. I also want to thank the NJDGE for a professional collaboration during the approval process.”

The proprietary product will receive continuous support once launched, including additional content and improvements.

Kindred expects to launch the platform in the state of Pennsylvania later in the year.

The Kindred brand has been live in New Jersey for some years now, after it launched its flagship brand Unibet in the state on 10 September 2019.

This was achieved through a partnership with Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City, which has recently announced its involvement with the Janet Jackson tour and memorabilia auction.
