Pariplay gains supplier licence from Swedish Gambling Authority
By Gambling Insider

Starting on 1 July, companies must possess a gaming software permit to distribute or continue to distribute content within the country.

The five-year licence will enable Pariplay to continue offering Swedish players games from its portfolio of over 150 suppliers, including its own Wizard Games studio and games from its Ignite partner, as well as cutting-edge and locally adapted third-party content via Fusion, its aggregation platform.

Swedish operators will also receive a set of back-office conversion and retention tools from Pariplay's Fusion offering, which now includes over 14,000 games across all product verticals.

Adrian Bailey, Managing Director at Pariplay, said: “Sweden is a key market for us at Pariplay, so we’re thrilled to have obtained our B2B permit to continue operating within the country once the new regulations begin.

“We’re committed to keep being the leading aggregator in regulated markets and look forward to continuing to entertain our Swedish players for many years to come.”

Bogdan Barbacaru, Head of Compliance at Pariplay, said: “Our dedication to regulated markets is extremely important, so we’re thankful to the Spelinspektionen for granting us a permit that will allow us to continue operating in Sweden.

“We’re excited to keep growing in the market and strengthen our foothold, both in Sweden and within Europe as a whole.”

Ainsworth Game Technology and Pariplay recently extended their agreement, allowing the latter's gaming portfolio to be accesssed by Canadian gamers via Pariplay's platform.
