By Priscillia Mudiaki
ect has announced that William Hill has signed up to the sports-betting social network.

Betfect went live last year with Ladbrokes as its first major partner.

The new partnership is a considerable milestone for the social network that aims to revolutionise the betting industry with its platform.

Betfect, a London-based tech start-up, allows users to engage and interact through betting.

It is a hub where customers can share, compare and make sports bets from gambling websites, now including the two UK’s leading bookmakers, after Ladbrokes partnered with Betfect last year.

Alex Rutherford, head of product innovation at William Hill, said: “Creating a social network for the sports-betting community, allowing users to stay connected while using our services is a great idea. We are delighted to boost innovation by helping and supporting startups like Betfect to increase the level of engagement amongst our customers and to bring new ideas to market.”

Betfect plans to integrate more betting partners as well as release iOS and Android apps in the near future.
