The Swedish Gaming Authority (SGA) has granted supplier Gaming Corps the ability to oversee gaming software in its country of origin.

The licence is valid for five years. This follows the requirement that all providers of gaming software obtain a licence by 1 July for the Swedish market.

Gaming Corps portfolio consists of premium Crash, Mine, Table and Slot games, as well as a certified Plinko. Additionally, it includes a range of titles such as Coin Miner, Penalty Champion, Jet Lucky 2 and Raging Zeus Mines & Aztec Bonus Pot.

Previously, Gaming Corps secured licences in Gibraltar, the Netherlands, Greece, Estonia and Spain.

Juha Kauppinen, Gaming Corps CEO, said: "It is gratifying for us that more and more markets are moving towards regulation and we are pleased to become an official licensee in Sweden as we continue to grow the number of markets where players can enjoy our premium game content.

“The new licence regulations in Sweden are a very positive step to help protect players and promote safer gambling, and we are very happy to offer our games to players in line with these new regulations as a licensed games developer.”

The SGA recently granted 1x2 Network a licence for B2B gambling in Sweden.

The UK-based company already holds licences in the UK, Romania, Greece, Malta and Ontario for its iGaming software and content.

Meanwhile, Kindred Group and Gaming Corps also signed a recent agreement.

Through this partnership, Kindred's brands will have access to the entire Gaming Corps' slot and mine portfolios.
