Microgaming announce poker network rebrand
By Gambling Insider
iders Microgaming have rebranded their Microgaming Poker Network to the ‘MPN’.

The rebrand marks the culmination of a three-year project to transform the network, a process which has included the creation of a new lobby, a re-architecture of the poker platform, the unveiling of new flash and HTML5 clients, as well as the launch of Blaze Poker and Anonymous Tables.

Other improvements include the creation of joint promotions with key operators, the launch of rake allocation model True Value, and the formation of the Network Management Board, the industry’s first operator/network board.

The final steps in the process are the overall rebrand of the network and the launch of a new network website at thempn.eu.

The MPN have signed numerous new operators to the network in recent weeks including Betsson, iGame, 24HPoker, Pokerihuone and BetVictor, with more set to follow.

Microgaming head of network games Lydia Melton said: “The rebrand of the network to MPN and the launch of the network website are both significant milestones for Microgaming poker.

“We are approaching our 10th year in operation, and we are stronger than ever before. However, we will not be resting on our laurels. What we have done with all these changes is build the framework for a scalable and sustainable network.

“Now that the framework is in place, we are more flexible, resilient and adaptable to any changes that this turbulent industry can throw our way.”
