IGT signs deal with Western Canada for 720 lottery terminals
By Gambling Insider

International Game Technology (IGT) has signed a contract with Western Canada Lottery Corporation (WCLC) to provide it with 720 lottery terminals.

The CrystalDual® video lottery terminals (VLTs) feature two high-definition displays, an enhanced player interface and a device charging port for players to use.

Eric Karmark, WCLC VP of VLT Gaming & Operations, said: "WCLC is committed to providing our VLT players with engaging content and high-performing hardware that deliver the best possible player experiences in Saskatchewan.

"The additional 720 VLT units and exciting new games from IGT speak volumes to that promise, and we look forward to enhancing the market with this deployment."

This isn't the only news to come from IGT today either, with the company launching the first US omnichannel wide-area progressive jackpot in New Jersey through the Wheel of Fortune slot game too.

IGT will also provide the library of games to be used on the VLTs, including titles such as 7's Wild Gold, Big City 5's™, The Wild Life™ and Thunder Stampede™.

Two additional VLT titles will also be introduced through the contract, Cash Eruption™ Temple of Fire™ and Greenback Attack™.

The cabinets will also be linked through the IGT Intelligen system, which allows for system security support, account and tracking.

David Flinn, IGT SVP, Canada, South and Central America, said: "The award and delivery of 720 additional VLT units reinforces the depth of IGT's commitment to WCLC's continued growth, and the quality of IGT's content and cabinets for the Canadian market.

"IGT's CrystalDual 27 continues to prove its versatility and relevance in gaming markets around the world as the premium dual-screen VLT cabinet.

“We're pleased to continue partnering with WCLC to provide content, including titles under the only Canadian VLT wide-area-progressive feature, Vault Breaker."
