ators William Hill have launched a new iPad app.

The app offers bets on all of the markets found on William Hill’s traditional web page as well as fast access to accumulators, while a “hot picks” list allows customers to see what other punters are backing.

A William Hill iPhone app has achieved over 550,000 downloads since its launch in February 2012, making it the most downloaded betting app.

App betting accounts for around 30% of William Hill’s total online betting, with that figure predicted to reach 50% over the next couple of years.

The firm say football is the most popular sport for mobile betting among their customers, followed by horse racing, tennis and cricket.

William Hill director of mobile Juergen Reutter said: “Customers have been clamouring for a specific William Hill app for the iPad and this is simply the best betting app available.

“Whether used as a second screen solution whilst watching sport at home, or simply whilst on the move, we’re sure it will become a favourite way for many of our customers to bet.”
