Darlington Football Club rebrands lottery programme
By Gambling Insider

Darlington Football Club has overhauled its lottery programme for fans, rebranding it from ‘Darlo Fans Lottery’ to ‘Darlington FC Lottery.’

The lottery allows fans to contribute financially towards the club while also giving them the chance to win cash prizes.

The fundraising efforts are put towards the development of young talent at the club, stadium maintenance, fan experiences and community outreach projects.

Jon Saddington, Darlington Football Club Supporters Group Chair, said: "Our fans are the lifeblood of our Club and we are thrilled to announce the rebranding of our popular lottery program as Darlington FC Lottery.

"This initiative allows us to not only further engage with our supporters but also build a stronger bond with the wider community, all of which will help us generate vital funds that will directly benefit the Club and its activities.

“We encourage everyone to participate and join us on this exciting journey."

The Darlington FC Lottery costs £5 ($6.09) per number each month, with a monthly jackpot prize of £1,000.

As a fan-owned club, Darlington FC relies on fan contributions to continue growing the club.

The new seated stand at Blackwell Meadows was opened in March 2018 following a £150,000 drive from fans for the foundations and construction.

Darlington FC has a range of fundraising opportunities for fans, including the Darlington FC Lottery, Sponsor a Goal, the Super 50/50 and the Boost The Budget scheme.

Since 2012, Darlington FC fans have raised almost £2m for the club.
