Paf and Tallink Grupp extend ship gaming partnership
By Gambling Insider

The renewed multi-year agreement solidifies Paf's mission to enhance the gaming experience on Tallink Grupp's vessels, particularly those under the Silja Line brand connecting Sweden, Åland, and Finland. Paf aims to modernise onboard gaming by introducing new coinless machines with integrated screens to elevate player interaction.

Christian Lundell, Key Account Manager at Paf, highlighted the significance of the 'Customer Journey' concept in fostering better player interaction and reinforcing responsible gaming practices. Paf also plans to explore expanding gaming offerings with specific adult-oriented amusement games to diversify onboard entertainment.

Paf's dedication to responsible gaming is evident in previous updates on Tallink's ships to and from Estonia, where passengers must use boarding cards to play on slot machines. Kairi Maidla, Group Entertainment Director at Tallink Grupp, acknowledged the successful achievement of higher gaming standards through cooperation with Paf and expressed joint goals to further enhance responsible gaming practices on all ships.

The partnership aligns with Paf's broader mission as a Nordic gaming company founded in 1966, emphasising responsible gaming and contributing funds for societal benefit. Paf's operations extend beyond online gaming, covering over 30 cruise ships in the Baltic and North Seas. In 2022, the Paf Group reported a total turnover of 165.7 million euros and a profit of 44.4 million euros.
