Per Jaldung to become CEO of the Grand Casino Brussels
By Ciaran McLoughlin

Per Jaldung has announced that he will be taking up the role of CEO at the Grand Casino Brussels, at the Viage in Brussels.

Jaldung will begin his duties in the position from 11 December.

In a post he published on LinkedIn, Jaldung, said: “I am really looking forward to getting back into the casino world. I have missed it and I can’t wait to get on board with the experienced team Viage.”

Jaldung is currently the Honorary President of the European Casino Association (ECA), something he was appointed to in February 2023, with more than 20 years of experience in the casino and gaming industry.

The appointment also followed his previous spell at the ECA.

Indeed, some of his previous positions have included being the CEO of Casino Cosmopol AB, Head of VLT operations at Svenska Spel and Chairman of the ECA, as well as a number of other roles within the casino and gaming industry.

Previously, Jaldung spoke to Gambling Insider in 2021 for our CEO Special, talking through his career and his past career as a detective.

That same year, he was named Chief Executive of the Year at the Global Gaming Awards London. Famously, this was a year when Jaldung joined others in accepting the Award virtually, with no in-person ceremony held during the Covid-19 pandemic.
