Scientific Games signs deal with Lotto Bremen in Germany
By Gambling Insider

Scientific Games will work with Lotto Bremen in German.

As part of modernisation efforts, Lotto Bremen has selected Scientific Games to help it upgrade its retail lottery technology.

Scientific Games will supply and install its Contour.v terminals at retails across Germany and connect them to the Symphony terminal management system.

Michael Barth, Bremer Toto-Lotto Managing Director, said, “Moving to more advanced lottery terminals across the Lotto Bremen network brings us another step closer to modernising the lottery experience with Scientific Games, our longtime technology provider.

“We are confident that this is a very positive move that will be well-received by our retailers and players.”

The Contour.v terminals will offer screens for both clerks and players, facilitating contactless use and mobile features.

The cameras on the terminals allow for a more accessible ticket scan area as part of the integrated technology.

Matthias Müller, Scientific Games VP of Strategic Sales & Marketing, said: “As our first Contour.v terminal and Symphony terminal management system customer in Germany, we applaud Lotto Bremen on its innovative vision and leadership in Germany toward modernizing the lottery retail experience.”

This is the latest development between Scientific Games and Lotto Bremen, with the two companies holding a working relationship of over 25 years.

Lotto Bremen isn’t the only company though, as Scientific Games is now a supplier for all 16 lotteries operated in Germany.

In a recent study, Gambling Atlas Germany found that around 30% of Germany's population participates in gambling activities.
