FanDuel has announced its campaign for the 2024 Super Bowl tournament.

Named the "Kick of Destiny 2," the campaign will see Rob Gronkowski return to the Super Bowl finale where he will attempt to kick another field goal.

This year, fans will be able to make a free pick on whether Gronkowski will score or not, with the decisions marketed as ‘Make’ or ‘Miss.’

Fans who pick the right outcome will be eligible to share a pot of $10m in bonus bets to use at FanDuel.

On the campaign, Gronkowski said: "I can't lie, when I missed the Kick of Destiny during last year's Super Bowl, it was devastating.

“I told the team at FanDuel I knew I could do better and needed a shot at redemption this year.

"I'm going to show America I can make that kick, even with all the pressure of doing it live in front of the entire country."

FanDuel TV Host Kay Adams will serve as the commentator during the kick itself, which will be in front of a live audience this year.

Gronkowski continued: “No wind is going to stop me, and we're going through the uprights this year for everyone who picks that I'm going to make the kick."

As part of the integrated story, Gronkowski will go on a journey where he meets a new coach, Carl Weathers and John Cena; who doesn’t believe he’ll be able to score.

Cena said: "I rarely get to play the villain so I'm ready to fully embrace this role.

"I remember watching Gronk's kick last year and am so excited to be working with a brand like FanDuel to make this sports moment more exciting for their fans, but do I think he's going to make it? No chance!"
