Global Tote and Hawthorne Race Course sign extension to partnership

This partnership will continue to see the provision of pari-mutuel wagering technologies and services at the racecourse and its off-track betting bars. 

With this new agreement, it will also see Global Tote’s latest technologies for wagering deployed at the Hawthorne Race Course, including the BetLine Series of wagering terminals and OneWatch™ terminal monitoring solution. 

The race course will also continue to utlise Global Tote’s Quantum™ Tote Engine for central pari-mutuel wagering services. 

Hawthorne Race Course General Manager, John Walsh, said: “The Chicago area is a big market for horse racing and the player experience, particularly at the track and in OTBs, is essential to serving loyal customers and attracting new fans.

"These are the places where everyone comes together to enjoy our sport, and Global Tote’s betting terminals make that experience better.”

Similarly, back in November, Global Tote extended its contract, with a new 10-year agreement, with Meadowlands Racing and Entertainment
