Scientific Games has announced Andrew Jackson as the new VP of Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG).

In his new role, Jackson will lead the company’s global ESG strategy and advance Scientific Games’ work in a range of areas including environmental and product sustainability, supplier diversity and social responsibility.

Jackson has a background in engineering and previously held the role of Director of Quality, Compliance and R&D.

The new role will develop the company’s commitment to ESG through a focus on five pillars: benefiting communities, empowering employees and partners, expanding healthy play and lottery literacy, minimising environmental impacts and operating with integrity.

Chief Legal Officer for Scientific Games Dena Rosenzweig said: “For 50 years, Scientific Games has been committed to being a responsible company that positively impacts the communities we serve through our lottery partners and their beneficiaries.

“Andrew’s wealth of experience and expertise in sustainability will lead us into the next era of responsible growth. Through his leadership, our ESG programs will have an even greater positive impact on our organization, our industry and the communities we serve around the world.”

In other recent news, Scientific Games launched a Players’ Club Rewards programme for the South Carolina Education Lottery.

Scientific Games has integrated both its customer relationship management (CRM) services and business intelligence tools into the programme.

Last month, Scientific Games also signed a deal with Lotto Bremen in Germany, signaling expansion across the US and Europe.
