Global Gaming Awards just over two weeks away

third incarnation of the Global Gaming Awards will take place in Las Vegas just over two weeks from now, with an awards luncheon to be held at the Titian Ballroom, Venetian Palazzo Congress Centre on Monday 26 September.

Comprised of senior figures from across the gambling industry, a 60-person strong panel of independent judges are in the process of voting on awards across 12 categories, with their votes to be counted and verified by external adjudicator KPMG Gibraltar.

New judges for this year include Tom Jingoli, CAO and SVP of Konami Gaming, Playtech CEO Mor Weizer and Vladimir Dokov, Managing Director of EGT.

They will be joined on this year’s panel by a number of Global Gaming Awards veterans, among them Geoff Freeman, President and CEO of the American Gaming Association, and BetClic Everest Group CEO Isabelle Andres.

Among the categories to be awarded are Land-Based Operator, Digital Operator, Customer Loyalty Program and Responsible Business.

NYX Gaming Group is the Global Gaming Awards’ lead partner for 2016, having also taken up the role in 2014 and 2015.

Sponsors of individual awards categories include Scientific Games (Land-Based Operator), NetEnt (Digital Operator), American Gaming Systems (Customer Loyalty Program), Betradar (Digital Acquisition Program), Agilysys (Land-Based Industry Supplier), BetConstruct (Digital Gaming Innovation), Microgaming (Responsible Business) and IGT (North America Executive).

The awards luncheon precedes the Global Gaming Expo, the biggest event in the North American Gaming Calendar, held in the Sands Expo and Convention Centre.
