Casino Technology granted Class II license for Romania
By Tom Lewis
stry supplier Casino Technology has announced that it has been granted a Class II license for online game content in Romania, expanding its presence in the country’s regulated market.

Approved by the Romanian National Gambling Office (ONJN), Casino Technology will now be able to supply its portfolio of content to Romanian customers.

Rossi McKee, Vice President of Casino Technology, commented: “We have very strong positions on the land-based sector in Romania for years and now we are excited to provide the players with our game content online as well.”

Casino Technology’s Head of Business Development, Stefan Enchev, said: “After the granting of this license, the company is in the process of securing deals with our land-based partners, so that they can rely on us in the process of synergy and empowering the seamless multichannel gaming solution delivery.”

Romania published a blacklist of online gambling companies in 2015, regulating the market in 2016 and issuing its first full online licenses to NetBet, Winmasters and Stanleybet in July after the new legislation had been fully implemented.

This latest announcement follows a series of similar expansions for Casino Technology, which launched its licensed online content in Spain in December 2016.
