Totolotek to become first regulated bookmaker in Poland to introduce virtual sports betting
By Josh Fisher
alot’s Polish bookmaker Totolotek has partnered with Betradar to introduce virtual sports betting to Poland for the first time, after recent changes to Polish gaming law now permit this form of gaming.

Over the last decade, Polish regulations for online gambling have been considered some of the most stringent in the European Union. However, an amendment to the country’s gambling law came into force on 1 April, and consequently bookmakers Totolotek have been quick to announce a new partnership with Betradar to offer virtual sports betting across its outlets.

Initially, simulations of football matches, dog racing and horse racing will be offered to customers in Poland, and in May simulations of games played by national teams will also be made available.

Speaking about the new partnership, Neale Deeley, MD of Virtual Gaming at Betradar, added: “We are really excited to launch with Totolotek. Punters around the world place millions of bets on Betradar virtual sports every week and now punters in Poland can enjoy the same thrilling experience.”

"We believe that this kind of gaming will be of great interest to our customers. It is fast and much more accessible than betting on real games,” added Adam Lamentowicz, CEO at Totolotek.
