Gongzi Jeju Casino opens in South Korea

zi Jeju Casino, a property on the South Korean holiday island of Jeju, has officially launched its operations, its management confirmed in a press release on Tuesday.

The official opening took place on 16 July, following a ‘pre-launch’ and renovation period from 28 April. Hundreds of guests were invited.

The foreigner-only casino, located within the Ramada Plaza Jeju Hotel complex, covers 40,000m2 and has 45 gaming tables and 24 slot machines. The gaming space which previously operated the site carried the branding Ramada Plaza Jeju Casino.

The revamped Gongzi Jeju Casino represents a major economic boost the gaming industry in Jeju.

Lysa Evans, Chief Operating Officer of Gongzi Jeju, said: “We have brought Jeju all the latest gaming technologies and gaming integrity parallel to Macau, Singapore and other world-class gaming destinations.

“Our Gongzi owner’s vision was to create a gaming experience in a location that was accessible, with fantastic natural scenery and relaxing entertainment.”
