By Harrison Sayers
Tulalip Tribe have announced that they will begin the development of a new $100m casino directly opposite their current integrated casino resort in the US State of Washington.

The new casino is yet to be named and is currently titled QCC2 after the tribe’s current establishment the Quil Ceda Creek Casino. The project will see the erection of an 110,000 square foot casino including a huge gaming floor. The project is supposed to be completed by late 2018 with the possibility of it running on until early 2019.

The tribe's current casino will be demolished once the development is complete with the tribe yet to announce what the will be doing with the plot of land on which it is built.

The announcement was made by the tribe’s chairwoman, Marie Zackuse, who stressed that the new development would be in line with their current operation's focus on local interests, keeping an emphasis on the site's new dining options and entertainment facilities.
