XLMedia appoints new Non-Executive Director

liate performance marketing company XLMedia has announced the appointment of Jonas Martensson as a Non-Executive Director at the company with immediate effect.

Martensson has substantial board level experience in a number of departments within XLMedia, in addition to both corporate and capital markets exposure across the Scandinavian region. He is currently the CEO of Swedish video game developer Mojang AB, the Swedish video game developer and publisher behind the Minecraft game, which was acquired by Microsoft in 2014.

He has also held senior roles at Betsson, most notably serving as Head of Mobile for Betsson Technologies AB, where he was responsible for strategy and execution of all mobile activities across the 28 brands within the Betsson Group.

In a statement announcing the appointment, Chris Bell, Non-Executive Chairman of XLMedia, commented: "We are delighted to welcome Jonas to the board of XLMedia as he brings a wealth of experience in both capital markets, technology and product development and the gaming sector.”
