ntific Games have partnered with the government operators of the Kansas Lottery, which will see the company provide systems and related services.

The deal will run from July 2018 and will last for 10 years.

Kansas Lottery executive director Terry Presta said: “Our new gaming system from Scientific Games aligns with the Kansas Lottery's goals and vision for the future, which places more emphasis on advanced technology to enhance the Kansas Lottery's overall performance.”

The Kansas lottery will benefit from Scientific Games lottery system platform to help with the running of the draws. On top of the systems support provided, the Kansas lottery will also benefit from their new partners marketing services and products.

Presta added: “We selected Scientific Games as a technology business partner because we believe their technology solution can enhance our player insights, game innovation and retail operations, and ultimately help us maximise profits for our state beneficiaries in Kansas.”

The Kansas Lottery has been operational since 1987. Since its inception the state has raised over a trillion dollars in tax revenue from the lottery.
