By Jake Patel

Slot machine revenue increased 7.1% in May to $670.2m, with table games jumping 14.5% to $373.9m. Baccarat accounted for $120.8m of the table games wins.

The two highest earning areas in Nevada were in Clark County, with $904m in winnings, followed by Washoe County with $73m.

The visitor volumes for May 2018 also show an increase of 0.8% over May 2017, indicating more people are visiting Las Vegas.

In the period between 1 June 1 2017 and 31 May 2018,  statewide gaming revenue rose 3% compared to the same period in the previous year.
