Ladbrokes receives 24-hour Belgium ban after virtual betting breach
By Tim Poole

The operator will undergo the ban on 3 September, after the Gaming Commission ruled it had continued to offer virtual betting for several months following its outlawing.

Ladbrokes offers a host of virtual bets, but the practice was banned in Belgium as of June 2017.

However, the company is now being sanctioned for continuing to offer virtual betting within the country until 14 March 2018.

The 24-hour supension applies to both online betting and any Belgian high street shops.

There was better news for Ladbrokes in Australia recently, with the operator having launched a new accumulator-betting product in partnership with supplier Sportcast.
