MRG joins the European Gaming and Betting Association
By Harrison Sayers

Operator MRG, formerly known as Mr Green, has invested heavily in its ‘Green Gaming Programme’ that ensures all new customers are asked to set betting limits.

Brussels-based EGBA promotes player safety, sustainable regulation and responsible gambling, with members representing more than 20 million EU customers.

As a new member of the EGBA, MRG will now be audited on its compliance with the CEN Workshop Agreement on Responsible Remote Gambling Measures.

Per Norman, CEO of MRG, commented: “MRG shares EGBA’s view that the industry must work closer together to create a safe and reliable European digital environment for online gaming players.

“Green Gaming has been a core of our strategy since the foundation of the Group and we are enthusiastic about contributing to the development of more Green online gaming services across Europe.”

Further proving MRG’s commitment to Green Gaming, the company launched a predictive gaming tool in 2017 which enables players to gain an insight into their risk behaviour.

Maarten Haijer, Secretary General EGBA, added: “MRG brings a strong profile of responsibility, and together we will work towards developing attractive regulated markets that are capable of channelling consumers and providing a high level of consumer protection.”
