Former poker world champion Bobby Baldwin to leave MGM Resorts
By Tim Poole

Baldwin is currently Chief Customer Development Officer, as well as CEO and President of CityCenter, an urban complex on the Las Vegas Strip.

However, the 68-year-old will step down from both roles this year.

Baldwin has been a long-time servant at MGM Resorts, following a career as a professional poker player that led him to winning the 1978 World Series of Poker Main Event.

Baldwin was the youngest ever Main Event champion in history.

MGM Resorts said: “Few have played a more central role in the growth and transformation of the gaming industry than Bobby and his contributions over more than three decades are immeasurable.

“MGM Resorts thanks Bobby for all he has done for the company and all he has meant to this industry and wishes him the best for the future.”
