AGS appoints former AGA CEO to board of directors
By Tim Poole

Freeman has a wealth of experience in the gaming industry, having joined the American Gaming Association (AGA) in May 2013, serving over five years as President and CEO.

He stepped down this August and is now President and CEO of the Grocery Manufacturers Association.

Prior to his work with the AGA, Freeman held numerous directorial jobs, as well as the COO role for the US Travel Association.

Freeman said: "I'm honoured to join the AGS Board of Directors at such an exciting time in the company's growth journey.

“I have tremendous respect for the AGS Board, and I look forward to working with them to help AGS continue its momentum."

AGS President and CEO David Lopez said: "Not only does he have a proven track record of effecting significant positive change in our industry, he is a recognized and respected business leader who brings deep strategic, operational, and market development experiences that span across multiple industries.”

AGS yesterday reported company-record revenue of $75.5m for Q3, a year-on-year increase of 34%.

The results prompted the supplier to upwardly revise its 2018 outlook.
