Intralot secures New Mexico sports lottery deal

New Mexico will be the first US state to authorise a sports wagering lottery game to be available throughout the state’s entire retail network, comprising of approximately 1,100 retail terminals.

David Barden, New Mexico Lottery Chief Executive Officer, said: “(Today) we moved the Lottery industry forward as we took the approval from our board to launch a sports lottery game throughout our retail network. We are convinced sports lottery games will provide new and exciting experiences for our players while significantly increasing dollars being transferred to our scholarship fund for student beneficiaries.  

“We are always looking for games that strengthen our lottery brand by attracting millennials and other new players.”

The agreement includes the deployment and customisation of Intralot’s cross-channel Sports Lottery Program, with the supplier to provide its managed services related to the Sports Lottery game.

Intralot will also offer training to New Mexico’s retail network and lottery personnel.
