Wynn Resorts projects “world’s largest” integrated resort in Japan
By Matthew Enderby

Speaking at a press conference on Wynn Resorts' development in Japan, Gordon said: "The current projections are that it would be the largest integrated resort in the world."

He also emphasised the operator's intentions of partnering with a Japanese company to give the bid additional credibility.

Gordon estimated Wynn Resorts’ initial investment would be between $8bn and $9bn and expects operational costs to be between $940m and $1.4bn.

The IR would employ between 11,000 and 16,700 people.

Tokyo could be the frontrunner to host the IR, with reports this week suggesting Wynn Resorts will open an office in the Japanese capital this summer.
