Gambling.com Group granted new license to expand in New Jersey
By Nathan Joyes

This approval allows the affiliate to build on its existing commercial agreements in New Jersey with online sports betting, casino and poker operators, to include components of revenue share in addition to fixed fees and flat fees per referred customer.

New Jersey enjoyed a successful month in February, as total gaming revenue rose 26% year-on-year to $241.2m.

DGE’s latest figures revealed a 16% growth in casino win to $196.7m and a 44% increase in internet gaming win to $31.7m.

However, affiliate OddsShark was recently penalised by the DGE for promoting offshore bookmakers.

Charles Gillespie, Gambling.com Group CEO, said: “This approval allows us to increase our exposure to the lucrative market. Our application for an Ancillary CSIE license should be taken as a clear statement of intent for our big plans in New Jersey.

“It also demonstrates our commitment to working with New Jersey to make the state the model for licensing and regulating affiliates, as more states come online with gaming and sports betting in 2019 and 2020.”
