Statistics released by the Nevada Gaming Control Board (NGCB) show two slot machine categories accounted for more than half of overall revenue.

Of these, one cent machines dropped a marginal 0.1% to $259m, while multi denomination slots generated revenue of $258.4m, a 1% growth.

Baccarat suffered the biggest fall in table game win: 25% year-on-year to $132.1m; roulette also suffered a 5% drop to $34m.

However, the game twenty one generated revenue of $96.3m, a 9% growth, while sports betting win enjoyed a significant 235% rise to $35.8m.

This was helped by an 11% year-on-year increase in overall sports betting handle, to $485m.

In February, the NGCB reported an 8% fall in the amount wagered on the Super Bowl ($145.9m). But this has barely dented a strong month indeed for Nevada sportsbooks.

Another segment enjoying a considerable yearly increase was craps, which saw revenue up 21% to $37.8m.
