The contract also includes a provision for Kambi to supply the Moldovan National Lottery with online and retail sportsbook, with the operator expected to enter Moldova in the summer.

National Lottery JSC won the right to provide sports betting in Moldova, where the vertical is otherwise prohibited, as a result of legislation that regulated it under a monopoly framework in 2016.

National Lottery JSC can now operate as a sportsbook in Moldova for 15 years.

Kambi will provide the operator with its multi-channel sportsbook and plans to go live in the next few months will be followed by a retail rollout.
