Delaware reports lowest online poker revenues since launch

ware online poker revenues have hit rock bottom, plummeting 55.4% in June and reaching the lowest point since online poker launched in the state last November.

According to figures released by the Delaware Lottery, throughout June online poker revenue fell to $25,607, compared to the $57,470 achieved in May.

However racinos in the state also suffered, experiencing sharp declines due to the seasonal down trend in online poker and the exodus of players to Vegas for the World Series of Poker.

While total i-gaming revenues increased 7% to $187,944, compared to May’s $175,602, the amount wagered on online table games fell for the first time in four months by 15.8%.

New account sign-ups on the other hand saw an increase in June from 342 to 399 – a rise of 16.7%.
