A total of 99.98% of shareholders in the Ladbrokes Coral owner voted to support the move at an emergency general meeting (EGM), with 481,464,490 votes cast at the EGM in Gibraltar.

The operator announced last month  it was considering the move to increase efficiency, with 107,610 voting against and 5,744 withholding.

It now has 582,739,946 ordinary shares of €0.01 ($0.011) each in issue with the same figure representing the total number of voting rights.

In a trading update last month, GVC announced a 13% growth in online net gaming revenue for Q4  2019.
