Shuffle Master to purchase OnGame network

fle Master are to acquire Ongame Network from bwin.party in a deal that could be worth up to €20.5m.

The suppliers will pay an initial €19.5m for the online poker network, subject to certain adjustments, while further payments of up to €10m will depend on the legalisation of real money online poker in the USA within the next five years, with the figure decreasing throughout the period.

Ongame are one of the world’s largest B2B poker providers and boast a network that includes over 25 online gaming operators as well as regional networks in France and Italy.

Shuffle Master chief executive Gavin Isaacs said: "I am confident that Ongame will fit seamlessly into our ongoing interactive initiatives of delivering our renowned brands to online gaming operators, partner web sites, social networks and mobile platforms.

“Poker is a natural fit for our table-centric online offerings and our many jurisdictional licenses present a compelling opportunity for our current and future online customers.”
