Macau revenue comes from three sectors: VIP, table and electronic games and the Gaming Inspection and Coordination Bureau released data about GGR contributions.

Mass-market GGR brought in MOP1.73bn ($216.3m), a 96% decline compared to MOP38.74bn from the previous year. It’s also an 89% fall from Q1 2020. Mass-market revenue makes up about 54% of all casino GGR, a rise from 53% the previous year.

Mass-market baccarat earned MOP1.06bn, falling 96% year-on-year. Baccarat makes up 32% of Q2 GGR, a 40% drop compared to both 2019 and Q1 2020.

Slot machines brought in MOP432m for Q2, an 88% decline, and a 72% compared to the previous quarter.

Table games with live dealers brought in MOP129m, 81% down, while VIP GGR for the second quarter was close to MOP1.50bn, a 96% drop.

The VIP sector made up 46% of all GGR, a slight drop from 47% the previous year.

Macau’s casino GGR is down 77%, earning MOP33.72bn for the first six months of 2020, caused by the coronavirus pandemic and travel restrictions.
