The suspension came into effect on 20 July and the operator is forbidden from offering its services to player in the UK. The list of suspended online casinos include casinoplanet.com, genesiscasino.com and vegashero.com.

The GC stated it advised the operator to allow players to access their accounts in order to withdraw any remaining funds. The players are also cautioned not to deposit any more money into the affected casinos.   

In an email sent to affiliates, Genesis claims it wasn’t informed about the details of the review but promises to work closely with the GC to resolve the matter quickly. Genesis also holds licenses from the Malta Gaming Authority and Swedish regulators.

Genesis is not the only provider that was reviewed by the GC. Recently, FSB Technology was issued a warning over “advertising, money laundering and social responsibility failings” related to several of its third-party licensees, with FSB agreeing to pay £600,000.
