Nevada Gaming Control Board has confirmed that the state's online poker revenue has fallen to its lowest position since it began releasing data in February.

The total revenue from interactive poker in October of $665,000 is down on September’s posting of $693,000, the previous lowest figure.

Revenue for online poker has been in consistent decline since June, which saw revenue of more than $1m posted due to the number of live tournaments players participated in to attempt to qualify for the World Series of Poker in Vegas.

Nevada currently has three licensed online poker sites in operation, though it was announced in November that Ultimate Poker is to close down, leaving Caesars and South Point Casino as the only generators of online poker revenue.

This means that revenue is likely to drop again for the month of November, as October was the last month that three online poker sites were in operation.

Casino gaming revenue did however manage to improve 4.6% to $913.6m.
