Sportradar announces Chuck Robel will join board of directors

Robel began his career at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP where he spent 26 years. He also spent five years as general partner and chief operating officer at Hummer Winblad Venture Partners, where he managed a £1bn investment portfolio.

The industry executive is currently employed as chairman of the board for GoDaddy, a service platforms for entrepreneurs. Prior to this he was the lead director for AppDynamics.

Throughout his career, Robel has worked for a long list of technology and data companies, including Sumo Logic, McAfee, Informatica Palo Alto Networks and DemandTec, among others.

In his new role at Sportradar, Robel will oversee the company’s financial reporting and internal controls, risk, and ethics compliance.

Commenting on the appointment, Robel said: “I am honoured to join Sportradar and bring my decades of experience working closely with many leading technology companies.

“Sportradar has established themselves as a leading technology company focused on innovation and groundbreaking products, and I look forward to working closely with Carsten and the board members in this capacity.”
